Learning and Knowledge Exchanges
We have created resources with the aim to educate and inform individuals on different aspects of domestic violence, including recognizing warning signs and providing support. The collection includes posters-infographics, and explainers that cover topics such as intimate partner violence, coercive control, and abuse against women in different communities. The resources are designed to be accessible to the general public and can be utilized for personal reference or in a professional setting.

Specific attention is given to cultures of violence, how they manifest, and the need to attend to prevention, as opposed to the current focus on punishment, when addressing the intersectional experiences of Black girls.
This webinar identifies trauma and violence informed frameworks that are both relevant and responsive to the intersecting realities in Black women’s lives, especially with an increasing number of Black women being charged with perpetrating violence against an intimate partner.
The online forum brought together culturally and gender diverse survivor, student, and advocate perspectives on current realities related to gender-based sexual violence and oppressions on Canadian campuses, and what is needed to create inclusive, safe campuses.
