This handbook is designed to give you the tools and resources to defend and advocate for your rights while you are federally incarcerated. This handbook is written specifically for people in prison, but advocates, lawyers, and other allies will also find it useful in their work.
The Trans PULSE Canada project collected survey data from 2,873 trans and non-binary people in 2019. This report presents results from the first national data on gender-based violence, health and well-being among trans and non-binary immigrants and newcomers in Canada. Results for newcomers and established immigrants frequently differed, highlighting the importance of studying the impact of the settlement process and integration on immigrant health and wellbeing.
This report examines the intersections between intimate partner violence, legal help, and technology. It draws on data that was gathered through interviews and surveys with survivors of intimate partner violence and explores the experience of survivors in using technology to access legal information and support.
