21st Century Practice – Transforming Women’s Lives
This publication aims to describe Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS), a 21st Century anti-violence organization for women. BWSS is very proud of its strong roots in the feminist and women’s movements of the late 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s, and of the new directions it is taking in its work with women.
When Battered Women Are Arrested
This toolkit is for frontline providers to respond to growing number of women who are being arrested for allegedly perpetrating domestic violence against their partners. These arrests are occurring despite the fact that in all cases the women were in relationships where they were being abused by their partners.
